2020 Honor Program Goes Virtual

In light of the public health circumstances associated with COVID-19, this year's annual Honor Program will be held virtually on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 5:30pm. We'll commemorate victims and support survivors with Honor Program traditions and look forward to adding new elements to make this year's program meaningful even though we won't physically be together in the Garden. Please monitor the website late summer for updated information.

New Garden of Peace Website

We invite you to explore the new Garden of Peace website. The look is different but all the important content is there. You'll be able to find the list of Commemorated Victims; submit an application for engraving or a Story Behind the Name; read about the Garden's history and past Honor Programs; make a donation to support the Garden; and more! Please save to your Favorites so you can easily find the site and stay informed about the Garden.

Coping with COVID-19

A Symbol of Hope and Peace

The Garden of Peace is the Massachusetts memorial to victims of homicide. The Garden serves as an enduring reminder of the impact of violence and the need to eliminate violence. The Garden is a symbol of hope and peace, and renewal--in our lives, in our communities, and in the world. See the short film below about the Garden's origins.

Support the Garden

The Garden of Peace continues to rely on the generosity of individual, group, foundation, and corporate donors to help us maintain the Garden, host the annual Honor Program, and subsidize engraving costs for those who cannot afford them. Please click here to donate.
